This Privacy Policy describes how Types LLC, doing business as OmNom ("OmNom," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects personal information when you use our platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). This policy applies to all users of OmNom, including customers, restaurant owners, and affiliates.
By using the Platform, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information depending on how you use OmNom:
1.1 Information You Provide
- Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
- Order information: Delivery or pickup address, order details, and special instructions (customers).
- Payment information: Payment card details and billing address. Payment information is collected and processed directly by Stripe — OmNom does not store your full card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment data.
- Business information: Restaurant name, business address, tax identification numbers, and banking information (restaurant owners, processed through Stripe Connect).
- Affiliate information: Name, contact information, tax identification (for 1099 reporting), and payment details for commission payouts (affiliates).
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device and browser information: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent on the Platform, and referring URLs.
- Cookies: We use essential cookies to maintain your session and keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. See Section 10 for more details.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your personal information for the following purposes:
- Providing the service: Processing orders, connecting customers with restaurants, facilitating payments, and managing accounts.
- Communication: Sending order confirmations, account notifications, and responding to support inquiries.
- Payment processing: Facilitating transactions through Stripe, including platform fee collection and affiliate commission payments.
- Platform improvement: Understanding how the Platform is used so we can improve features and performance.
- Legal compliance: Meeting legal obligations, including tax reporting (1099 forms for affiliates) and responding to lawful requests.
- Safety and security: Detecting and preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access to the Platform.
3. How We Share Your Information
OmNom shares your personal information only in the following limited circumstances:
3.1 With Stripe
We share payment-related information with Stripe, Inc. for the purpose of processing transactions. Stripe's use of your data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy. OmNom does not control Stripe's data practices.
3.2 With Restaurants (Customer Orders)
When you place an order, the restaurant receives the information necessary to fulfill it, including your name, order details, and pickup or delivery information. The restaurant's use of your information is governed by their own privacy practices.
3.3 With Affiliates
We do not share customer or restaurant owner personal information with affiliates. Affiliates receive only aggregated, non-identifying commission data related to their referrals.
3.4 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
3.5 Business Transfers
If OmNom is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership.
We do not sell your personal information. OmNom does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for advertising, marketing, or any other commercial purpose.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Specifically:
- Active accounts: We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
- After account closure: We may retain certain data for up to three (3) years after account closure for legal, tax, and compliance purposes (e.g., transaction records, tax forms).
- Anonymized data: We may retain anonymized, non-identifiable data indefinitely for analytics and platform improvement.
You may request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).
5. Data Security
We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information, including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS/SSL.
- Secure storage of account credentials using industry-standard hashing.
- Access controls limiting who within OmNom can access personal data.
- Regular review of our security practices.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
6. Children's Privacy
OmNom does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided personal information to OmNom without your consent, please contact us at support@omnom.monster. We will promptly delete such information from our records.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion: Request that we delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Opt-out: Opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

8. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

- Right to delete: You have the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to opt-out of sale: OmNom does not sell personal information. If this changes, we will provide a "Do Not Sell My Personal Information" link.
- Right to non-discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.
To submit a CCPA request, email us at support@omnom.monster with the subject line "CCPA Request." We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.
Categories of Information Collected (CCPA Disclosure)
In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have collected the following categories of personal information:
- Identifiers: Name, email address, phone number, IP address.
- Commercial information: Order history, transaction records.
- Financial information: Payment card details (processed by Stripe), banking information (restaurant owners and affiliates, processed by Stripe).
- Internet activity: Browsing history on the Platform, device information.
9. Cookies & Tracking
OmNom uses a minimal set of cookies:
- Essential cookies: Required for the Platform to function, including session management and authentication. These cannot be disabled.
- Preference cookies: Remember your settings and choices (e.g., saved restaurant preferences).
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies. We do not participate in ad networks or sell data to advertisers.
Most browsers allow you to manage cookie settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may prevent you from using certain features of the Platform.
10. Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as Stripe or restaurant websites). OmNom is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and may notify you through the Platform or via email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
