Can I finish setup later?

Yes! Steps are saved when you successfully submit them and move forward. Reopen the app to continue, using the same email if you need to sign in again. Finish the step before leaving—text you haven’t submitted may not be saved.

What happens if an order is refunded or disputed?

Costs depend on the reason and payment stage. An authorization released before capture doesn’t create a processing charge or restaurant debt under the managed flow. Restaurant-caused refunds and lost disputes can involve itemized sale amounts and related costs; OmNom-caused refunds are treated differently. Check the managed payment terms for the details.

Someone referred my restaurant. What can they see?

Referral partners can prepare non-sensitive details like your restaurant name, location, menu and hours, with your permission. They can edit an unclaimed draft, but referring you does not give them owner or payment access. Affiliates are a separate role with assigned operational permissions. Being referred doesn’t add a referral surcharge.

Link to this answer
Which email should I use?

Use an email you control and can reliably access for sign-in and important notices. Your login email is separate from your public restaurant contact information. Payment setup requires authorized owner access, so don’t share your sign-in code with someone helping you set up.

Link to this answer
Can I add more than one location?

Yep! You can manage multiple restaurant locations under a business, or separate restaurant businesses. Look for Switch Account in Settings to select a restaurant or start adding another.

What are the dine-in options?

Counter Dine-In lets customers order ahead and collect food at your counter. Book a Table collects a scheduled arrival time and party size with the order—it isn’t a guarantee from a table-availability system. Table Service lets seated customers order using a table code.

Link to this answer
Can I mark an item as sold out?

Yep! Use your menu controls or ask the signed-in restaurant assistant to mark an item unavailable until a specified time. For example: “Mark broccoli soup unavailable until closing today.” This getting-started chat can explain it, but can’t carry out the change.

When does my restaurant go live?

Ordering starts only after the required payment, restaurant, menu and applicable device checks pass. Some setup paths activate automatically when everything is ready, so don’t assume uploading a menu alone launches the restaurant—or that there is always another launch button. Check the status shown in the app.

Link to this answer
Can I upload my existing menu?

Absolutely! During onboarding you can upload photos, screenshots or PDFs, with up to 12 supported files. Use clear, readable pages and review the imported names, prices and options. You can edit the menu manually after onboarding; this chat doesn’t accept menu uploads.

How do I get my restaurant set up?

Tap Get started and use an email you control. We’ll guide you through your restaurant details, menu, hours and secure payment setup. The authorized owner or representative completes the required business and payment information; verification can take longer than filling out the forms.

Link to this answer
Who should complete payment setup?

The authorized restaurant owner or representative should complete the secure legal, identity and bank steps. Referral partners can help prepare restaurant information, but they can’t complete these protected steps for you. Use a bank account you’re authorized to connect.

Link to this answer
Can I use an existing Stripe account?

OmNom’s managed setup creates a connected payment account for your business. You don’t need a separate general Stripe login to get started, and I can’t promise that an unrelated existing Stripe account can be reused. Follow the secure setup shown in the app.

Link to this answer
Can you see my setup progress?

Guests get guidance for the screen they are viewing. When you are signed in as the verified owner, I can use the saved setup status for your selected restaurant and explain its next action or waiting reason. I cannot see bank details, identity documents or sign-in codes, and cannot complete protected steps for you.

Link to this answer
Do I need to finish payment setup?

Yes—payment verification and the required bank setup must be ready before online ordering can be activated. Follow the secure steps shown in the app. This chat can explain them, but it can’t inspect or approve your payment account.

Link to this answer
How will I know a new order arrived?

Enable notifications for the owner app and keep the restaurant’s alert contact details current. The app supports order alerts, but delivery depends on your device, permissions and connection. This chat can’t guarantee every alert or confirm that a specific order was received.

My sign-in code is not working. What can I do?

Check your spam folder and make sure you’re using the newest email—requesting a new code replaces the old one. If the code or link expired, request another. Still stuck or unable to access that email? Call (402) 875-9960 for OmNom’s voice AI or email support@omnom.monster.

Can I send you my code or bank details?

Please don’t send sign-in codes, passwords, bank details or identity documents in chat. Enter them only in the appropriate secure sign-in or verification form. I can explain what a field is for without seeing its sensitive contents.

Who handles sales tax?

Check the sales-tax disclosure shown for your restaurant. In some configurations OmNom retains and remits the tax; in others it is included in your payouts and your restaurant reports and pays it. I can’t determine your restaurant’s responsibility from this public chat or give personal tax advice.

How do customers order?

Customers open your link in a web browser on a phone or computer, browse the menu and place their order. They don’t need to install an app. Share your link wherever customers find you!

My restaurant invitation is not working. What should I do?

Use the email the invitation was intended for, if one is specified. Owner setup invitations can expire or be replaced; contact support if yours is expired, incorrect or already claimed. Don’t create a duplicate restaurant just to work around it.

What does OmNom cost?

No monthly platform fees or OmNom commission! Restaurants pay for payment-processing fees whenever a customer orders online. Standard daily payouts are included for free. Refunds and payment disputes can involve additional costs where applicable. Delivery is unavailable. You can check the processing details here.

Which business type should I choose?

Use your business’s actual legal structure and registered information. If you’re unsure, check your registration documents or ask your business adviser rather than guessing. Verification fields depend on your business and the payment provider’s requirements.

Link to this answer
Which owners do I need to list?

Follow the ownership and representative requirements shown in your secure setup. They depend on the business and the payment provider’s current requirements, so I won’t guess a universal ownership percentage. If your ownership structure isn’t covered by the form, contact support.
https://omnom.monster/support

Link to this answer
Can I replace my whole menu through chat?

Not as a complete replacement today. The signed-in restaurant assistant can use attached images to help create menu items, but it doesn’t have a whole-menu replacement tool. Use the menu screens to review and edit your menu; this onboarding chat only explains the process.

Link to this answer
What if my bank is not listed?

Use the options offered in the secure bank form, including manual details entry when it’s available. If your account isn’t supported or verification fails, contact support rather than sending bank details here. A connected bank may still need verification.

What is OmNom?

OmNom gives your restaurant an ordering link customers can open in a web browser. Share it on your Google Business listing, website or social profiles! Orders arrive in the owner app, and you can keep your current ordering services too.

Link to this answer
When will I receive my first payout?

Standard payouts are scheduled daily once funds are available. A new account’s first payout can take about seven days or longer depending on verification and the payment provider; daily scheduling doesn’t guarantee next-day bank arrival. You can check your payout status in the owner app.

Link to this answer
Do I need special equipment?

You don’t need to replace your existing ordering services or have your own website. For the app-first setup, you’ll need an iPhone or Android device with the owner app registered and notifications enabled. That helps your restaurant receive new-order alerts.

Link to this answer
Why is delivery not available?

OmNom supports pickup and dine-in. Delivery and driver enrollment are retired and cannot be enabled through restaurant settings. Historical delivery records remain available.

Link to this answer
Can I get an instant payout?

Instant payouts aren’t generally available in the initial managed setup and depend on feature availability and account eligibility. Don’t rely on an instant payout unless the app actually offers it and shows the complete fee before you confirm.

Link to this answer
Why is verification still pending?

The app may be waiting for payment verification, required business details, a bank connection or restaurant-readiness checks. Follow any specific action shown on your screen. There’s no guaranteed approval time; contact support if you’re stuck, and don’t send verification documents here.
https://omnom.monster/support

Link to this answer
What if my imported menu is wrong?

Review the items, prices and options carefully before using the menu for orders. You can correct your menu in the owner app; a prepared referral menu needs your confirmation. If an upload fails or stays stuck, contact support—there isn’t a guaranteed processing time.
https://omnom.monster/support

Link to this answer
Can I set holiday hours?

Yes! In the owner app, choose normal hours, custom hours or closed all day for a specific date. That date’s override takes precedence over the normal schedule. The signed-in AI can create a full-day closure for an exact date, but custom holiday opening and closing times need the hours screen.

Can I use OmNom for a home-based food business?

We’re still working out the onboarding requirements for home-based food businesses. Contact support about your situation before relying on OmNom for launch; I can’t confirm eligibility or local permissions here.
https://omnom.monster/support

Link to this answer
Can I skip uploading a menu?

You can choose Skip for now when that option is offered and return to the menu later. Skipping doesn’t mean the restaurant is ready to take orders: an actual menu and the other activation requirements still need to be completed.

Link to this answer
Why am I authorizing bank withdrawals?

That authorization is for itemized unpaid restaurant debt, such as certain restaurant-caused refunds or lost disputes—not monthly fees. The managed terms require at least seven calendar days’ notice before each debit. Read the terms before agreeing, and contact support if you need to dispute a notice or revoke future authorization.

Can a food truck or ghost kitchen use OmNom?

Yes. Moving food trucks can enable daily pickup location during onboarding or in Settings. On each trading day they get a push 10 minutes before opening, and a call at opening only if location is missing. Open OmNom at the truck: Orders shows the location check-in starting two hours before the next opening, even without tapping the notification. Settings > Food truck & daily location can change this to 30 minutes, 1 hour or 2 hours. Review GPS or enter an address, then tap Confirm today’s location. Overnight service keeps its confirmed address until closing, not midnight. Unfinished orders stay accessible alongside a check-in banner. The menu remains visible but ordering waits for confirmation. Customers see Find us today, the address, pickup note and directions. Confirmation never changes the legal/business address. Existing orders keep their original pickup directions. Phone reminders can record an explicitly confirmed closure and reopening time; unknown reopening prompts a permanent-close versus continue-reminders choice at the next opening. Permanent closure preserves the account/history and stops ordering and reminders. Availability depends on feature rollout.

Link to this answer
Why do you need identity information?

The payment provider may need legal, ownership and identity details to verify the business and enable payments and payouts. Sensitive verification is handled in Stripe’s secure forms; OmNom retains some profile and onboarding information, so it wouldn’t be accurate to say we store no personal information. Never send IDs, bank details or sign-in codes in this chat.

Link to this answer
Do customers pay a service fee?

Yes—a service fee is shown before payment. The default pickup and dine-in service fee is $1.25 per order. Settings can vary, so check the checkout total. Delivery is unavailable.

Link to this answer
How should I set my opening hours?

Set each day’s ordering schedule in the restaurant’s local time zone. Onboarding currently has one opening and closing interval per day, so it doesn’t support separate lunch and dinner intervals there. You can adjust hours later in the owner app.

Link to this answer
What can OmNom AI do?

Once signed in with a restaurant selected, you can ask the restaurant assistant to mark an item unavailable until a specified time, add a menu item or close for a specific day. It asks for clarification or confirmation for broad or ambiguous changes. This onboarding chat can explain the process, but can’t change your restaurant.

Referral partners

Why is my bank connected but payouts are not ready?

A bank connection is one part of setup. Your payment account also needs completed details, payout eligibility and an active transfers capability. Follow any remaining requirements in the secure form, or contact support if you’re stuck.
https://omnom.monster/support

Link to this answer
Does creating a draft make the restaurant live?

Nope! A draft is a head start, not an open storefront. The verified owner still needs to claim it, review the prepared menu and complete the required restaurant and payment setup before orders can begin.

Link to this answer
Who can join the Referral Program?

The program is currently for US residents who are at least 18 and have a verified email. Employees and agencies can refer restaurants they don’t own. Referring your own restaurant isn’t allowed.
https://omnom.monster/terms-referral-partner

Link to this answer
Can I refer a restaurant already on OmNom?

Already-live restaurants and duplicate leads aren’t eligible for automatic attribution. If you believe your introduction hasn’t been credited correctly, contact support for review. Don’t create another draft to bypass a duplicate warning.
https://omnom.monster/support

Link to this answer
Do I need to keep helping the restaurant to earn?

Rewards are based on eligible orders during the referral’s earning window, not a required amount of ongoing promotion or training. The owner completes their own protected setup. You can be helpful without becoming responsible for their account.

Link to this answer
How do I share my referral?

Use the app’s Copy link, Copy message or Open Messages options to share your personal invitation from your own device. OmNom doesn’t send the Referral Partner invitation on your behalf. Ask the owner’s permission and keep your message respectful.

Link to this answer
Why do you need my date of birth?

OmNom checks that Referral Partners are at least 18 and stores your profile date of birth. Use accurate details for later payout verification. If you entered something incorrectly, contact support rather than creating another account.
https://omnom.monster/support

Link to this answer
Where do I get my tax documents?

OmNom is preparing annual tax reporting through Stripe. Finishing payout setup collects information; it does not mean a tax form has been filed or that you have consented to paperless delivery. Document delivery and filing are separate. Contact support if you need help.
https://omnom.monster/support

Link to this answer
Do I need the owner’s permission first?

Yes! Ask the owner’s permission before creating a restaurant draft or uploading menu photos, even if the information is publicly available. A quick conversation first makes the introduction much smoother.

My sign-in link is not working.

Will I receive a 1099-NEC?

For 2026, the general federal rule is $2,000 or more in reportable payments to one recipient during the calendar year, across all their referrals—not $2,000 per restaurant. State rules, recipient exemptions, and backup withholding can change whether a form is required. Pending rewards aren’t the same as reportable payments, and income may still be taxable without a form. Thresholds can change after 2026.

Link to this answer
Why do you need my tax details?

A little setup now helps us pay you correctly later! Stripe securely collects the details needed for payouts and tax reporting. You can keep referring and earning while you finish, but your identity, tax details, and bank setup must be complete before OmNom transfers your rewards.

Link to this answer
Can a reward be reversed?

Yes. A later refund, dispute or invalid order can reverse a reward. If the reward was already transferred, the adjustment can be offset against later mature earnings. The app’s recorded balance is more reliable than an earlier estimate.

Link to this answer
Can I start before connecting my bank?

Yes! Payout setup can wait until after you join and start referring. Transfers still require a ready payment account and the program’s minimum mature balance. Smaller earned balances carry forward; I won’t invent an expiration deadline.

Link to this answer
Should I choose quick or assisted referral?

Quick referral starts with a restaurant contact number and gives you a personal link to share. Assisted referral lets you help prepare details, hours and menu photos with the owner’s permission. Both use the referral’s assigned reward schedule; assisted setup doesn’t automatically pay more.

Link to this answer
What menu files can I upload?

With the owner’s permission, use clear menu photos or supported PDFs, up to 12 files. Check that names, prices and options are readable. The owner reviews the prepared menu; uploading it doesn’t make the restaurant live by itself.

Link to this answer
What if two partners claim the same referral?

Contact support so we can review what happened. Credit may be considered if the owner signed up without your link, but it isn’t guaranteed—it depends on timing and order volume. If two partners believe they made the introduction, support can review that too; neither person is guaranteed credit.

Link to this answer
Can an agency receive referral payouts?

Yes! In secure payout setup, choose the individual or business that will legally receive the rewards. Stripe asks for the right details for that recipient. An agency label alone doesn’t determine its tax classification.

Link to this answer
Are my tax details secure?

Your tax ID, bank account number, and identity documents are entered directly into Stripe’s secure setup. OmNom keeps setup status and masked bank details, not those sensitive documents or numbers. Please don’t send them here in chat.

Link to this answer
Why do I see Stripe during payout setup?

Stripe is the payment provider that securely verifies payout information and connects your bank. OmNom creates a connected payout account for the program, so an unrelated existing Stripe account isn’t automatically reused. Enter sensitive details only in that secure form.

Link to this answer
Can I refer a restaurant I own or work for?

You can refer a restaurant you work for as long as you don’t own it and have the owner’s permission. Self-referrals aren’t allowed. Agencies can also refer restaurants they don’t own.

Link to this answer
Can I edit or withdraw a referral?

You can edit or withdraw an unclaimed referral. Once the owner claims it, they control setup and you can no longer edit that prepared draft. Making a referral never gives you owner or payment access.

Link to this answer
What happens if my balance is below $10?

Smaller earned balances carry forward and aren’t forfeited just because they’re below the transfer minimum. If you don’t expect more rewards, contact support about the remaining balance.

The owner signed up without my link. Can I get credit?

Contact support so we can review what happened. Credit may be considered if the owner signed up without your link, but it isn’t guaranteed—it depends on timing and order volume. If two partners believe they made the introduction, support can review that too; neither person is guaranteed credit.

Link to this answer
How do I check my referral progress?

Open the referral in the app to see its current status and earnings. Creating a draft or sharing a link doesn’t start rewards; the restaurant needs to go live and receive eligible orders. If the owner says they joined but your status looks wrong, contact support for review.
https://omnom.monster/support

Link to this answer
What if I do not know the restaurant’s details?

Only enter information you know is accurate. The owner can review and finish the restaurant’s details later. Ask permission before creating the draft, and don’t guess contact information or menu prices.

Link to this answer
Which phone number should I enter?

Use an accurate US restaurant contact number and check it with the owner. The app uses contact details to detect existing referrals, so don’t use a different number to get around a duplicate. You share the personal invitation yourself; creating the referral doesn’t automatically send it.
